Project Almanac

Ya vamos acabando con las películas de la semana pasada, ¡tan solo dos más! La que traigo hoy es una película que apareció sin querer en la lista de películas para ver (no entiendo quién la había puesto ahí porque ni siquiera la conocía). Se trata de El proyecto Almanac.

Es una película de ciencia ficción en la que un grupo de adolescentes encuentra un esbozo de lo que debería haber sido una máquina del tiempo diseñada por el padre de uno de los protagonistas. Estos, algunos de ellos brillantes alumnos de instituto pese no verles estudiar absolutamente nada en la película, logran acabar el diseño y ponerla en marcha. Solo hay una condición, cada vez que la usen, deberán viajar todos juntos. Pero, ¿serán todos ellos capaces de cumplir su promesa? ¿Qué consecuencias traerán sus actos?

Como se puede observar, ni el argumento es especialmente innovador, ni los actores son brillantes y la historia bastante aburrida y normal. Nada destacable en ella. Una película donde se combinan dos grandes tópicos: adolescentes en el instituto y viajes en el tiempo.

Lo siento pero esta vez mi puntuación es un 4.

Finally I’m finishing with all movies from last week. There are just two more coming. The one which I’m going to talk about today is a movie that I hadn’t even known it until last Sunday. ( I am still wondering who was the one who had put it on the list...) Anyway it’s Project Almanac.

It’s just another Science Fiction film in which a group of teenagers came across a draft of what it supposed to have been a time machine designed by one of the character’s father. These guys, some of them very smart even if I didn’t see any of them touch a book along whole movie)  were able to finish the sketch and make the machine run. There is just one requirement, every time they use it, they have to travel together, all of them. But will they be able to keep this promise? And what will happen when they use this machine? Does it change anything?

As you can see, the plot was not original nor were the actors and actresses good either. It was pretty boring and quite simple.  There is nothing remarkable. It is used two very hackneyed topics such as teenagers in high school and back in time trips.

I’m so sorry but this time it’s a 4. I don’t like at all.
