Prométeme que serás libre/ Promise me you will be free

Hoy en lugar de película (que tengo varias en la reserva de las últimas dos semanas), traigo un libro recién sacado del horno de lecturas y tachado de la lista de libros por leer.
Se trata de Prométeme que serás libre de Jorge Molist.
Lo adquirí hace un tiempo cuando todavía era miembro del Círculo de lectores, que tuve que dejar por problemas de almacenamiento en casa y porque de aquella no tenia mucho tiempo para leer y solo acumulaba libros y frustración.
Desde que leí la primera reseña me atrapó, valga decir que es novela histórica, y por tanto, una de mis mayores perdiciones en cuanto a lectura se refiere.
Ubicada en tiempos de la Inquisición en plena época del Renacimiento. Asistimos a la vida de Joan, un joven catalán que ve cómo su madre y hermana son secuestradas y su padre muere junto a él, no sin antes hacerle una gran promesa, algún día será libre. Con esta promesa por bandera Joan, se enamora, viaja, lucha y aprende numerosos oficios para sobrevivir, y cumplir la palabra dada a su padre.
Muy recomendable, fácil de leer y que te atrapa desde el primer minuto.

Today I come with a new book instead of a new movie even though I still have some of the, form the last week and this one). I have just finished this book so I could cross it out. This nex book I come with is Promise me you will be free from Jorge Molist.
I bought it long time ago when I already was member of a book club. I had to leave it because I was in run out of space at that time ( and I'm still), and i didn't have enough time for reading as well so,I was just building up books and frustration.
From the very first moment I liked this book, I love historical novels such as this.
It is set in Inquisition times. Joan is just a boy who lives in Catalonia. But this guy saw how his mother and his sister were kidnapped. Also his father dies in front of him, and just before he dies Joan promises to be free some day. From that moment, Joan has this promise as a standard and he falls in love, travels, fights and learns several jobs just to keep surviving, just to keep his word given.
This is a really easy reading book, quite long, but very fast to read. It keeps you until late at night because you don't want to stop ever. I liked it very much and doubtlessly i would suggest it.
