Let’s start
this week with a new movie. This one doesn’t come from my bucket list. It is a
film about loyalty and animals, about Max, a dog.
Max is a
dog trained by the army to find different kinds of weapons during the war
against the East Orient. But when a group of soldiers were in a mission, they
were attacked and its trainer was killed. After that, Max becomes angry and untamable
so they decide to return it back to United States. Just before it was going to
be sacrificed, some soldiers carry it to its trainer’s funeral when the brother
of its trainer and Max meet. The dog seems to be the same again when it is next
to him, so his family decides to keep it. However, the father was informed that
his son is dead because of that dog, so he starts to want it out. What he doesn’t
know is that he was cheated, and Max is going to save him and his family from
many dangers and risks though.
The film is
quite good, and it has a sweet touch. Some of these movies about animals have
it. But there is one very very touching point, and it broke a piece of my
heart, the funeral and when Max shows up. It is harsh. On the other hand, I don’t
like the role of the father. From the very first moment you notice that he is a
completely asshole.
My score is
5,75 for this movie.
